Everyone leaves footprints in your memory, but the ones that leave footprints in your heart are the ones you will truly remember. Marcus Flynn, 37 of Wakefield Rd., passed peacefully after a long illness in Community General Hospital Tuesday June 18, 2012 leaving to mourn his Father James Flynn Sr. Sister Cherrelle Lowery and Brother Master Sgt. James Flynn Jr.; in addition to his devoted grandmother MS Georgia Chisolm and two close companions; his dogs Lexis and Shilo. He was predeceased by his Mother Gloria Flynn. Marcus was a member of the Mt Sinai A.M.E. Church and small business Entrepreneur. He loved singing and theatre. In 1991 he played in the West Side Story (Pepe) presented by the Pennsylvania Youth Music Theater; he was the soloist at the late Governor Robert P. Casey's Christmas Party; he also sang the National Anthem at the Harrisburg Senators baseball games. Services for Marcus will be held in Bethel Village A.M.E. Church on Tuesday June 26th at 11AM with viewing from 9AM until time of services. Marcus now rests with the Father; his physical remains will be interred in the Paxtang Cemetery In lieu of flowers please send donations to the Miracle for Marcus Fund at any Metro Bank.
