Magdalene Ranee LaCoste - Butts

Magdalene Ranee LaCoste, affectionately known as “Ranee” by family and friends, was born on February 19, 1966, in Wilmington, Delaware. 

Ranee worked for The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in the administrative field for over 15 years. She went on to attend Emory University in Georgia to pursue her degree in nursing. Ranee then returned to Pennsylvania to work for Homeland Hospice, where she retired as a Licensed Nurse’s Aide. 

On September 1, 2022, at the age of 56, Magdalene Ranee LaCoste, passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home. She is predeceased by her mother, Mary M. Freeman.

Ranee is survived by her husband, Sidney Butts Sr., father, Charles E. Hill of Steelton, PA, brother, Charles L. Hill of Philadelphia, PA, sister, Brenda Williams of San Bernardino, CA, children, Martinel L. Hill, B. Graci'ana Jones, Tymir E. Jones all of Harrisburg, PA, as well as her only grandchild, Milo C. LaCoste and a host of other relatives and friends.

Ranee's joyful spirit was truly magnetic, she will be deeply missed by all.
