"When I come to the end of my journey and traveled my last weary mile." 

 

Lloyd Williams, 87 of Harrisburg, passed peacefully on Monday, August 29, 2011 in the Lebanon VA Medical Center. Lloyd an Army Veteran retired as a Crane Operator from Bethlehem Steel and attended Steelton High School. He was a 30 year member at Wesley Union AME Zion Church, on the Steward Board and was a notary and tax preparer.  Lloyd was also a member of Chosen Friends Lodge #43 F&AM of Prince Hall, member of Nimrod Consistory #9 and Himyar Temple #17 Prince Hall.  He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Esther M. Williams of 62 years, a devoted son George, siblings Roger and Alvin Booth, Don and William Williams Jr., 2 grand and 6 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Services will be held at his church, 5th & Camp Streets in Harrisburg on Friday, September 2, 2011 at 11:00 a.m., viewing at 10:00 a.m., with burial at Indiantown Gap National.
