Linda Diane Grant

Linda Diane (DiDi) Grant, 72 years old of Harrisburg PA was called home

Sunday February 06, 2022. She was a loving daughter, sister, aunt and loving friend. She was Born in Saint Lucy, Barbados.

 She was the daughter of the late Elfrieda and Frank H. Grant Sr.  Linda graduated from Speightstown Girl School, Barbados.

She came to Harrisburg in 1971.  She worked as a special needs aid for disabled children at Allengheny Children’s Center.  She dedicated many years at Arden Court Dementia Assistant Living Facility.  She ended her career at Merkakey Incopr (East Field Home) as a Data Support Professional for Adult Males with intellectual and developmental disabilities until the day she was called home.

Although, she was a Master Seamstress, she also enjoyed gardening, shopping and was very Passionate for Bingo.

Surviving is her sister-Joycelyn Selvey (David Selvey) of Harrisburg, brother-Frank Grant Jr (Meiko Grant) of Prosper, TX, Sister-Adaline (Pat) Grant of Harrisburg and adopted brother-Andrew Simmons of Centreville, OH.

Linda had 2 nephews: Dwayne Selvey and Frank Grant III, niece: Madison Nevers and Great niece: Saleena Selvey. Aunts: Claudia Hinds and Evadne Joseph both of Barbados, Ina Skeete (Carl Skeete) of Philadelphia, Lorraine White of UK, Cousin of the following families: Jordan, Grant, Joseph, Griffith, Broomes, Graves, Skeete, Greenidge, Babb, Hinds, Forde, many other relatives and friends.

Linda was proceeded in death by:  David Selvey Jr., Selton Grant, Bazil (Roy) Jordan, Victor and Frank Griffith, Gwendolyn Greenidge, Gweneth Fowler (Dear Aunt).

Social distancing and wearing of mask are always required, even if fully vaccinated.
