Lillie Francis

"Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take but by the moments that take our breath away." Lillie Francis, 74 of North 17th Street passed peacefully Oct. 1st, 2007 in Community General Hospital. She was a former schoolteacher for the Harrisburg School District who loved singing, reading and swimming. She was also a member of the Harrisburg Church of Christ. Amongst the many who will mourn her passing will be her loving children James Jr., Yvette Washington, Warner Francis and Alison Johnson, siblings Louis and Leroy Cook with Ida Jewett, twelve grand with four great-grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. Services will be in the Hooper Memorial Home Inc., Monday October 8th at 11AM with viewing at 9. Her interment will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
