Lila Candace “Candy” Hunter, daughter of the late Pete Clark and Cora Gordon Clark was born in Washington, D.C. on January 15, 1947. On Tuesday April 23, 2024, Candy peacefully transitioned into eternal life in the comfort of her home in Harrisburg, PA.
Candy received her formal education in the Harrisburg Public Schools and graduated in 1964. She received her Bachelor of Nursing degree and was employed as a registered nurse for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania State Hospital and retired after many years of service.
She was a devout member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Parish in Harrisburg where she served in various positions. She gave all her help for the betterment of the church. Candy also enjoyed visiting with relatives and friends and gathering together for holidays and bar-b-ques.
Along with her parents she is preceded by her sister Jane Clark. She leaves to celebrate her life her son Donald Miller and wife Gillyan, brother Melvin Clark and wife Barbara, grandchildren, Drake Miller, and wife Seka, Dansen Miller, Donette Miller, step-granddaughter Khyle Waters, great-grandchildren, Eli, Eizen, and Ikaika Miller and host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
