Lena Wallace

"To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose" Lena Wallace, 85, passed peacefully on Thursday, January 7, 2010 in Spring Creek. Lena retired from Dauphin County, she was a member of Rose of Sharon Baptist Church, she was an usher, choir member and enjoyed knitting and playing bingo. She leaves to celebrate her life and memory her children; Farley (Andrea) Johnson, Jacqueline Brown, Sheila Hill all of Steelton, Darrell (Charlotte) Cobb of Middletown, Marcia and Arnold Cobb both of Harrisburg, a sister Marian Peterson of Harrisburg, 17 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. Services will be held on Monday, January 11, 2010 at Hooper Memorial Home, Inc. at 11:00 a.m., viewing at 10:00 a.m., burial in William Howard Day Cemetery.
