Juanita M. Walker

"A friend is someone who knows the song in your heart and can sing it back to you when you have forgotten the words." Juanita M. Walker, 74 of Steelton passed Saturday November 21, 2009 in Harrisburg Hospital. She was a retired employee of USF & G Insurance Company and pass member of Greater Zion Missionary Baptist Church and Mass Choir. Juanita loved game shows, reading, cooking and family gatherings. Honoring her memory are her devoted husband Melvin Walker Sr., seven children Debra Jordan, Antoinette Walton, Duane B. and Darren Childs, Melvin Jr., Tiffaney Smith and Sandra Walker; a brother James Childs Sr., eighteen grand and fourteen great-grandchildren as well as a host of beloved relatives and friends. Services will be Saturday November 28 at 11AM in the Hooper Memorial Home Inc. with viewing at 10AM. Interment will be at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. The family of Juanita would like to take this time to express their thanks for all of your condolences and prayers during their bereavement.
