Josette Lillian Pulley was born on September 15, 1987 in Queens, New York to the late Brenda Pulley and Joseph Callier. Josette is the second born of four. In September 1988, Josette moved in with her Beloved Great Aunt Mary Adams where she became Niece, Daughter, and sister to a large and close knit family of Cousins.
Josette, also known as "JoJo or Josie" was educated through the New York City school system. She later went on to accomplish many of her goals including her Associate's degree in Paralegal Studies and was a proud member of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. Josette was a very determined and goal-oriented person who never hesitated to take on new challenges and endeavors. Alongside taking care of her family, she worked, studied and sacrificed endlessly to create a strong foundation for them. Her dedication to accomplishing her goals and breaking barriers is commendable. She was extremely proud of her most recent accomplishment of becoming a licensed Realtor which she fearlessly managed alongside pursuing her bachelor's degree.
Josette was an amazing, beautiful, intelligent, strong and caring person. She was very conscious of her Spiritual needs, and that of her children. Josette did not play when it came to her children, she always wanted the best for them.
Josette's caring nature extended beyond obligation. Her tenacity is what everyone loved the most about her because no matter the circumstance, she was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. To know Josette was to know she was a very private person. Josette was a no non-sense woman who always kept things real in speaking openly on how she felt whether right, wrong or indifferent.
Josette enjoyed cooking, dancing, singing and loved getting dressed up. She was a devoted mother and created a haven of love and laughter for her family. Her home was her canvas, where she painted memories that will last a lifetime. Josette's legacy lives on through the love of her life LaVince Sr. and their children.
Josette is predeceased by her mother (Brenda), father (Joseph) and brothers (Ernest) and (Cousin/Brother) Keith. Josette leaves to mourn her Beloved Great Aunt Mary ('Auntie'), the love of her life LaVince Sr., their children Nevaeh, Venise, Eli, Joseph, Varon, Karter, LaVince Jr. and Lillian.
