Joseph L. Maynard

Joseph L. Maynard was born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, on January 21, 1972, to Judith A. Finley and Joseph N. White. Joseph made his earthly transition on December 10, 2024.

Joseph attended Harrisburg School District – William Penn Vo-Tech and completed his education in the Job Corps.

Joseph was a very likable person who loved to use his talent for singing and rapping. He also played Little League baseball with Lipton – Southeast. He attended churches throughout the community, including Emanuel Church of God in Christ and The First Baptist Church of Steelton.

Joseph is survived by his mother, Judith A. Finley (Steven Sr.), and his father, Joseph N. White. He leaves to celebrate his life his daughter, Stachya Easter; two sons, Maurice Ty’Shawn from Atlanta, GA, and Khalil Brown of Harrisburg; five grandchildren, Talachyar, Alachya, Aliyonna, Sincere, and Jervontay Easter; siblings, Jamie Maynard, Joseph Burnett, Claudette Guider (Keenan), Kevin Burnett, Anthony Hatcher, Steven A. Finley Jr., and Brian L. Finley (Carla), all of Harrisburg; and a host of relatives and friends.
