Jonas Royster Jr.

Jonas Royster Jr., 64 of Harrisburg, passed peacefully on Tuesday, August 29, 2023. Jonas was born on April 27, 1959 and was the son of the late Jonas Royster Sr. and Sarah Royster and raised in the Harrisburg, Pennsylvania area. He was also predeceased by two sisters, Denise and Janice Royster.

Jonas graduated from Harrisburg High School from the class of 1997.  He had a warm smile, was easy going and was always someone you could count on. Jonas was a skilled electrician and worked with various companies throughout his career, and later retiring from Conrail.

Jonas leaves to celebrate his life and memory his son, Joenell Jackson Royster and Jarrell Jackson and his significant other, Janine Jackson all of Harrisburg. He also leaves his devoted sisters; Joan Royster-Jones and JoAnn Royster, his grandchildren, nieces and nephews and a host of relatives and friends.

Memorial Services for Mr. Jonas Royster will be held on Friday, September 15th 2023 at St. Paul's Missionary Baptist Church, 1201 N. 17th Street, Harrisburg, PA 17103
