John W. Smith

John Willie Smith, 52 of N. 4th Street, Harrisburg, PA entered eternal life on April 20, 2020 in Harrisburg, PA. The son of Fannie Mae Smith but affectionately raised by Berniece Smith-Wilkerson.

John was born in Atlanta, GA and raised in Harrisburg, PA with his siblings; Grace Sinkler, John T. Smith, Walter Smith and Booker Knight all of whom reside in Harrisburg, PA. He was loving father and grandfather, who loved to DJ and watch his favorite team the Pittsburgh Steelers play in his pastime.

John is survived by his long-time companion Norma Brown, 3 children Ashley Lowry Phillips (Anthony Phillips Jr.), Johnny Lowry and Jy’Nea Brown-Smith as well as 5 grandchildren; Daiquan, Danayiah, Danaysha, Amari Phillips and Isaiah Brown-Harris all of Harrisburg, PA as well as a host of family and friends. A Memorial Service will be determined at a future date.
