John Jackson

John Edwards Jackson, 53 of Harrisburg, passed June 30, 2021. The son of the late Margaret Eubanks and James Jackson and predeceased by his brothers; Booker T Washington and William Eubanks. John attended Harrisburg City Schools and later joined the US Army. He worked for Harrisburg International and Thurgood Marshall airports. John loved to cook, always creating new dishes, his love and compassion for animals, earned him the name Dr. Doolittle and he was a diehard Dallas Cowboys fan. John leaves to celebrate his memory two sons; Eric Jackson and Jeffrey Brown, his sisters; Georgeanna, Bernita, Cheryl, Vyckie, and Rochelle, his brothers; Robert, Albert, James, Marvin, Ernest, and Jamal. Services for Mr. Jackson will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at Hooper Memorial Home, Inc., visitation at 10 a.m., arrangements have been entrusted to Hooper Memorial Home, Inc., www.hooperfuneral.com, mask are required.
