John W. Herndon

John W. Herndon, age 106 passed peacefully at his residence in the Ecumenical Center on Wilhelm Road, Tuesday, June 19, 2007. He was retired from the old Central Iron and Steel and Muth Mumma Dental Labs. He was also an Institutional Representative of Troop 24 Boy Scouts of America. and a Charter Member and Trustee of the Tabernacle Baptist Church. John's passions were politics and walking the Susquehanna Riverfront daily. He leaves to mourn numerous cousins and a host of other relatives and friends. Services will be held in the Hooper Memorial Home Inc. Tuesday, June 26th at 10AM with viewing at 9. His in interment will be next to his loving wife Edna in Grandview Cemetery, Johnstown, PA. On behalf of his family and friends we thank all of you for your many acts of kindness and the love shown to him during this time of bereavement.
