John E. Hairston Jr

On Saturday April 9th at 11AM (viewing at 10AM) in the Greater Zion Missionary Baptist Church, Charles R. Meile Jr. Senior Pastor, The Hooper Memorial Home Inc. with Minister Cornelius Sparks will celebrate the life of John E. Hairston Jr. 3027 Walnut Street who passed April 4th in his 55th year leaving to mourn his three loving daughters Vona and Michele Hairston and Danielle Hairston-Green, ten siblings Eunice, Rachel (Peachy), Jerome, James, Jeffery and Jerry Hairston, Alice McKinney, Emily Coleman, Louise Jones and Revella Bowser. Five grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends will be a part of the mourners as well. Burial Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. John was an employee of Giant Foods and member of the Greater Zion Missionary Baptist Church. As a member of the church he was part of the Addiction Ministry. John loved collecting art and family photographs; above all he loved his grandchildren.
