Joel Ray France Sr

Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away. Joel Ray France Sr., 68 of North 15th Street passed suddenly Oct. 19th in Harrisburg Hospital. He was a retired employee of Reese's and a Korean War veteran. He was also a member of the American Legion Post 733 and St. Paul's Missionary Baptist Church. Joel loved sports, traveling and pets. Amongst the many who will miss Joel will be his wife Delores, children Anthony Burden, Jill Pinkston, Joel Jr., Sharna Flood, Jamar Foster, Tiffany Lattimore and Tarsha Hooks with a devoted companion Charlie Bass and a host of other relatives and friends. Services will be in the Hooper Memorial Home Inc. Friday Oct. 26th at 12 noon with viewing at 11. The family wishes to thank all of you for your many acts of kindness during their bereavement.
