Jennings Jackson, aka "JJ" & "Bubba"

"Don't walk in front of me, I may not follow ~ don't walk behind me, I may not lead ~ Just walk beside me and be my friend." Jennings Jackson, aka "JJ" & "Bubba" 73 of 351 Chestnut Street passed peacefully in his home with the comfort of family and love ones Wednesday May 26, 2009. Jennings was a retired employee of H.B. Alexander and member of Monumental A.M.E. Church. He was predeceased by his wife Pansy, son Christopher Sr. and daughter Renee Wallace. Missing him but letting him go are his children Jennings Jr., Cynthea Gross, Stephanie Stewart, Julia Jackson, Jeffrey Stewart, Jennina Moore, Adrea Akinwande, Jerald Jackson Sr., Crystal Brown, Tonya Jackson Armstrong and Mark A. Maple. A sister Jacquelyn Logan, brothers James Jackson Sr., Dan Wright Sr., Charles Wright Sr. and Calvin Wright. Numerous grand, great grand and great-great grandchildren with a host of other relatives and friends will miss him as well. Services will be in the St. Paul's Missionary Baptist Church Wednesday June 3 at 11AM with viewing at 10AM. Interment will be in William Howard Day Cemetery.
