James "Sarge" Wimms

"Don't walk in front of me, I may not follow ~ don't walk behind me, I may not lead ~ Just walk beside me and be my friend." -unknown James "Sarge" Wimms 77, of North Progress Ave passed suddenly at home October 12th. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict and Vietnam War, retired engineer, Jehovah Witness and a bass player who loved Jazz. He is survived by two daughters Tanya Dailey (Sean) and Michelle Wimms of Harrisburg, step- daughter Terri Washington, one grandchild and six step-grandchildren with a host of relatives and friends. Services will be Monday 11AM in the Hooper Memorial Home Inc. with viewing at 10. His Interment will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
