James W. Weatherly Jr

"Once in a lifetime you find a friend who not only touches your heart but also your soul" James W. Weatherly Jr. 85 of North 6th Street, passed peacefully in the home of his devoted son Walter Weatherly on Sunday September 28th, 2008. James was a retired employee of the New Cumberland Army Depot, coach of the old Foster Street Y.M.C.A. basketball team and a member of the Old Timers Club. He leaves to mourn two sons Walter and Robert Weatherly, a daughter Cecilia Lilly, three brothers Lee, Sylvester and Frank Weatherly along with seven grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. In addition to the other relatives and friends he leaves two close companions Alice Bricker and Doris King. His services will be Saturday October the fourth in the Hooper Memorial Home Inc. at 11AM with viewing at 10. On behalf of the family we would like to thank all of you for your prayers and condolences during their time of bereavement. All flowers must be in the funeral home before 8:30AM Saturday Morning.
