James Tabb

James Tabb, 87 of Harrisburg, passed peacefully on Friday, December 5, 2014 in Golden Living Center in Harrisburg. He was the son of the late Alice (Hanna) and Regino Tabb and reared in Money, Mississippi.  James moved North and made Harrisburg his home.  He always had an entrepreneurial spirit and owned and operated two businesses prior to his retirement: Tabb Janitorial Service, and Industrial Maintenance Service.  He enjoyed traveling, was a music enthusiast, worked well with his hands, and loved his family and gardening. In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by his sisters: Eliza Kidd, Malisha Henry, Nellie Tabb, and Laverne Coleman;  and brothers: Mack, Cleveland, Albert and Rufus Tabb. He leaves to cherish his life and memory his children; Gloria Stanley, William Johnson, Cathleen Tabb and Nancee Holley, 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 4 siblings; Maynard Tabb, Mabel Hanna-Tabb, Ella Irby and Earnestine Tabb, as well as a host of relatives and friends.
