Jack F. Robinson Sr., 73 of Harrisburg, transitioned into eternal life in peace on Friday, October 13, 2017 with his family by his side. He was a graduate of William Penn High School and served in the U.S. Military and retired from the U.S. Postal Service with 40 dedicated years.
Jack is survived by his devoted wife and best friend of 50 years Mary Robinson, 2 sons; Jack Robinson Jr. (Tracy), Dennis Robinson (Amy), 4 grandchildren, Jack III, Jasmine, Briana, Dennis Jr., 2 great-grandchildren, one sister Greta Brown and a host of other relatives and friends.
Jack was also preceded in death by his parents, Dennis Robinson and Roseabell Monts Robinson, his sisters, Rosetta Gadsden, Reverend Delores Morris, his brothers Roc Robinson and Elmer Robinson.
Jack was a sports enthusiast; he enjoyed tennis and was also a Pittsburgh Steelers fan. His hobby was working on model trains, he loved watching old western movies and listening to rhythm & blues. Most importantly he loved spending time with his family and friends, his favorite holiday was Christmas, and he loved being Santa.
