Ivory was received into this world with love and excitement by her parents, Annjalee Nunez and Gavin Smith on January 25, 2020. Ivory was born at UPMC Hospital in Harrisburg, PA. She was called home to be with our Heavenly Father on January 10, 2023. Ivory was truly a blessing shared with us for such a short time. Our little angel was loved immensely and brought us an unsurmountable gift of pure and true joy. We will remember and giggle at her little phrases such as "I hung-y" first thing in the morning and while trying to get her to sleep for the night. She loved bubbles, silly putty, coloring, arts & crafts, singing, dancing and stickers. Ivory's favorite foods included French fries, fruit, peanut butter & apples, yogurt, salads, cookies & milk, bubble gum, rice and beans, and ice cream cones.
Ivory had an adventurous little heart. She loved to play outside chasing butterflies and running from bugs and bees. Ivory would point and say "Look Da Da's Twuck" when tractor trailers passed by. Ivory was very observant when out on nature walks. When she'd hear barking, she'd say, "you hear it?" with her hands outstretched or she'd say, "Where's Dog Dog?" She had a big heart, always checking up on you asking, “you okay?” As she shared many hugs and kisses along the way. If you left your phone within her reach, she’d be scrolling thru YouTube as happy as can be. Ivory would mimic her mommy when watching her make up routine and ask for some too, she loved to play dress up with her mom's clothes, jewelry, and would try to walk in her high heel shoes. Ivory would fill up her purse with her toys. She spent a lot of time playing with her cousins and loved being chased around. She especially enjoyed her cuddle time with her Mommy and her Da-Da. The bond shared between us parents and our precious child was a gift we treasured from our Lord above. Her life was filled with so much love, she will be forever missed. Ivory's angelic loving presence touched everyone she met. She will forever remain in all of our hearts.
Ivory is survived by her parents; Gavin Smith & Annjalee Nunez, Grandparents; Steven Smith & Danielle Purdy; John Nunez & Jamie Nunez; Aunts; Dasia & Alana Smith; Anali Purdy; Tia Forlizzi & Elise Nunez, Uncles: Steven Smith Jr; Juan Nunez & Domenick Forlizzi. Cousins; Aviana & Dayton Holland; Gemma Forlizzi and Amerely Ruiz; Great Grandparents, Great Aunts, Great Uncles, and many, many cousins.
A second memorial service announcement will be made and our website updated once a date and time is confirmed.
The family wishes to acknowledge with deep appreciation the outpouring of love, prayer and support received during this time of bereavement. May God bless and keep you, the Nunez & Smith Family.
