Hylda S. Jordan

"When I come to the end of my journey and traveled my last weary mile" Hylda S. Jordan passed peacefully on Monday, January 5, 2009 in Spring Creek Nursing & Rehab Center. Ms. Jordan retired as a Surgical Technician at Mercer Hospital in Trenton, New Jersey. She was a member of Goodwin Memorial Baptist Church and enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles and fine dining. Ms. Jordan will be celebrated and remembered by her sister, Diane Spriggs Washington of Virginia, a devoted niece Juanita Smith (Roosevelt) of Highspire and a host of additional nieces, nephews, relatives and friends and she was also preceded in death by her parents, Gerald Robinson and Anna Lewis Spriggs, a brother Ralph B. Lewis, a sister Marida Mills and a son Paul Lewis. Services will be held at her church, 2447 Green Street on Tuesday, January 13th at 11:00 a.m., viewing at 10:00 a.m. with internment in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. The family is greatly appreciative for the love and support given to them during their time of bereavement, Hooper Memorial Home is caring for and handling Ms. Jordan's arrangements.
