Reverend Howard Lee Lewis, Sr., 74, of Duncannon, PA, passed from this life into eternity on Saturday, March 26, 2016 with his family by his side.Reverend Lewis was born on October 25, 1941 in Harrisburg, PA. He was preceded in death by his father, Ozzie Lewis, Sr., and mother, Beatrice Moss Lewis, as well as siblings Odell Lewis & Dorothy McMurray. Reverend Lewis, also known to many as âBrother Howardâ, could accomplish anything he set his mind to do. He was a graduate of John Harris High School and became an entrepreneur. He owned many businesses over the years, including gas stations, garages, an excavating business, trucking business, rental properties, general contracting and HVAC business. Reverend Lewis loved working on cars, but his greatest passion was his role as a minister and as Pastor of the former Harrisburg Revival Center. âBrother Howardâ labored many years preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ locally and evangelizing throughout the south. He was the Founder and President of New Covenant Evangelistic Ministries, where he and his beloved wife Nancy mentored, taught and counseled many people. He had a hunger for the Word of God and a heart for helping those in need. Reverend Lewis is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 54 years, Nancy L. Lewis; brothers Lawrence Muhammad, Ozzie Lewis Jr., Sadiq Muhammad and Andre Lewis; sisters Lola Harris & Catherine Lewis; daughters Consuella Watlington, Felicia Lewis, Dana Lutz and Leona Lewis; sons Howard Lewis Jr. and Terrance Lewis; 10 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.
