Henry Hill Sr., 90, an WW II Army Veteran, passed peacefully at home with his family at his side on Thursday, December 31, 2009.
Mr. Hill worked for Olmsted Air Force Base then transferred and retired from Harrisburg International Airport as a Plant Supervisor. He was also a member of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Steelton, a member of the American Legion Post #479 and he enjoyed gardening and electronics. Mr. Hill owned and operated his own Television Repair Business and served the community for many years.
He leaves to celebrate his life and memory his two children, Linda Reynolds of Steelton, Henry (Saundra) Hill Jr., of Harrisburg; a sister, Florence (James) Robinson Mosby, also of Steelton; 6 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
Services will be held in his honor at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, 20 Locust Street in Steelton on Wednesday, January 6, 2010 at 11:00 a.m., with viewing at 10:00 a.m. and burial in William Howard Day Cemetery.
