Helene E. London

Helene “Liz” London was born in Slovenia, Yugoslavia on April 28, 1942 to the late William and Anna Hopp.  She walked with God on August 4, 2019.  Liz was preceded in death by her siblings William and Carl Hopp.

Her family migrated to Germany when she was 2 years old, where she completed High School.  In 1967 she came to the United States not able to speak English, where she quickly learned to read and write in English along with the LOVE of shopping.

Liz leaves her two children Suzette (Kevin) Rushing and Langston Harrison III, Nine grandkids Marcus (Arnesha) Harrison, Karrington (Dani) Harrison, Kevin (Ashley) Rushing,Jennifer Harrison,  Marissa Harrison, Keyanna Harrison, Triston (Tierra) Harrison, Cidney Harrison an Coby Smith.  Along with Seventeen Great Grandkids and a “Special Niece” Tiffany Wilkerson.

In 1978 she married Daryl E. London and they remained married for 41 years.  She loved her sister in laws (Celeste, Sharon and Bonnie).  Liz had a magnetic personality and a love for socializing.  Her flowers were her passion and it showed in her Roses.

Buddy and Jake (her dogs) held a special Place in her heart.  Although she was retired, she loved her GIANT food family.  While she did not go to Germany that often her surviving family (Silke Franzisky, LevAna (Marius) Glawion and Uwe Franzisky meant a great deal to her

She was loved dearly  while she was here and will be missed.
