Harry F. Thompson, Jr

Harry F. Thompson, Jr., 75 of Hummelstown, passed on September 17, 2013 in Hershey Medical Center. Harry was the son of the late Clara and Harry Thompson. He belonged to the Thoroughbred Association at Penn National Race Track, Charlestown Race Track in W. VA, enjoyed training horses and an avid Redskins fan. He leaves to celebrate his memory; his wife Lynn Thompson, 4 son's twins Barry and Gary Thompson, Kerry Thompson and Terry Thompson all of Virginia, sisters Ann Hill and Harriett Hartman both of Maryland and Evelyn Turner of Florida, 11 grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. Services will be held at St. John's United Methodist Church, 165 Fire House Rd., Grantville, PA on Monday, September 23rd at 2:00 p.m., with viewing at 1:00 p.m. and on Wednesday, September 25th at Ames Funeral Home, 8914 Quarry Road, Manassas, VA at 12 Noon with viewing at 11:00 a.m., burial in Quantico National Cemetery.
