Hansley Jerome Scott was born on January 19th, 1972 to Lynn Clark (Stevenson) and Zachary “Tiny” Scott in Brooklyn, NY. At age 2, Hansley moved to Harrisburg, PA where he grew up and earned the reputation of being a hard and dedicated worker. Hansley met his wife Rochelle 3 times where they began dating in 1991 and married on June 22nd 1992. Hansley worked various jobs throughout his life to support his family, but was mostly known for detailing cars. He was a devoted husband and father to 3 beautiful children as well as many other foster children who loved him dearly. Hansley’s biggest accomplishment was learning the truth about the Bible and sharing what he learned with others. Hansley dedicated his life to Jehovah in March of 1995 where he served Jehovah faithfully. In addition to using auto detailing to relax, Hansley loved listening to smooth jazz, spending time in Virginia, and cruising to the Caribbean. Hansley battled and endured an extensive illness for 20 plus years. Hansley always said he would grab the bull by the horns and go down fighting, and he did just that. Hansley loved his wife, children and grandchildren. No matter how bad he felt, he did everything he could to show them “Dad/Poppy” loved them unconditionally. Hansley is preceded in death by his father Zachary “Tiny” Scott, maternal and paternal grandparents. He leaves to cherish his memories, his loving and devoted wife Rochelle Scott; three children, Cheyler Robinson (Tyler), Ryan Robinson (Jequisse) and Carter Scott. Four grandsons: Tyler “Jaye”, Kayson, Riley and Kai, expectant granddaughter Anya whom he couldn’t wait to meet. His mother, Lynn Stevenson (Bernie), siblings Tammy, Naariyah and Shama along with nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and adopted family. Hansley will truly be missed by all who came to know him and all who look forward to seeing him again when he is new in the paradise earth.
