Gregory Oliver, Sr. "A friend is someone who knows the song in your heart and can sing it back to you when you have forgotten the words." Gregory "Smitty" Oliver Sr,, of Walnut Street, passed peacefully March 27 in Harrisburg Hospital. He was a member of Goodwin Memorial Baptist Church, a United States Air Force Veteran, an office Manager of Clearwater Construction and his passion was sports and music. His memory will be forever cherished by his wife, Glenda; children, Gregory Jr, Gerard Garett and Gabriel Oliver; also his mother, Patricia Kelly; and brother, Keith Kelly; with three grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. His services will be held in his church April 2 at 12 noon with a viewing at 11 a.m. "Smitty's" final resting place will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
