Gladys Barrow 93 of South Third Street passed peacefully Wednesday October 22nd in the Spring Creek Rehabilitation Center. She was a self employed Seamstress who was a member of the Hillside Seventh Day Adventist Church. She was also a Deaconess, assistant Sabbath School Leader and assistant Sabbath School Teacher of the Church and she also worked with AARP. Surviving Gladys are her children Eugenia, Charles and Valerie Barrow, with Aileen Williams and Eunice Smith. There are seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren who also survive her with a host of other relatives and friends. Services for Gladys will be held in the Hillside Seventh Day Adventist Church, 13th and Herr Streets Monday October 27th at 11AM with viewing at 10. Her final resting place will be in the Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
