George A. "Shadow" Simmons

"Everyone leaves footprints in your memory, but the ones that leave footprints in your heart are the ones you will truly remember"   George A. "Shadow" Simmons, 23 of Lower Paxton, passed peacefully in Hershey Medical Center on Saturday, February 25, 2012. George had previously worked at Homeland Nursing Center, he was a member of Greater Zion Missionary Baptist Church, he enjoyed wrestling, singing, dancing and shopping. Shadow was predeceased by his mother, Denise R. George and leaves behind his devoted grandmother, Emily Pitts and sister Raven Wiest, his biological mother, Roslin McLaughlin and a host of other relatives and friends. Services will be held in his church at 212 N. Progress Ave., Harrisburg on Friday, March 2, 2012 at 11:00 a.m., viewing starting a 9:00 a.m. Hooper Memorial Home, Inc., is handling all arrangements.
