George Richard McFarland Jr., 71 of Harrisburg passed suddenly at home Sunday Sept., 9, 2012. He was retired from the Department of General Services of the State of Pennsylvania. George was a past member of St. Paul's Missionary Baptist Church and enjoyed gaming, sports and watching old cowboy movies.

Amongst the many who will mourn him will be his devoted wife Lois, children Anthony (Kate) White, Fayth McFarland, Clarice Webb, Yvette House and Sterling (Diane) McFarland, also twelve grand and two great-grandchildren with a niece Denice Spaglin. He was predeceased by his sister Sally Spaglin.

Services will be Monday September 17^th at 12 noon with viewing at 11 in the Hooper Memorial Home Inc. His final resting place will be in Paxtang Cemetery.
