George McClure Jr

"When I must leave you, please do not grieve" George McClure Jr., "JR", 60, of North Street, Harrisburg, PA, passed peacefully on Saturday, October 10, 2009 in Harrisburg Hospital. George was a member and Deacon of United Baptist Church, a counselor for Experience Works and an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan. He was predeceased by his parents; George and Martha McCLure and his wife, Gloria McClure and two sisters Beverly and Elaine. He also leaves to celebrate his life and memory his children; Nicole Carter, George, Chatos, Tabu, Fontaine and Margie McClure, siblings; Margery Smith, Cynthia White, Vanessa Walker, Arlese Luckette, Bernice Williams, Louise McCLure, Arlene Breen, Karen Anderson, Maxie Wiley, Sherman, Willie and Terrie Reeves, Barry, Kevin and Glenn Walker, Sr., 9 grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Services will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2009 at his church, United Baptist Church, 14th & Walnut Sts., at 11:00 a.m., viewing at 10:00 a.m., with burial on Monday at Paxtang Cemetery.
