Geneva D. Powell

"Do not stand by my grave and weep. I am not there. I do not sleep." Geneva D. Powell 73 of Crescent Street passed peacefully on Monday June 9, 2008 at Harrisburg Hospital. She retired as a Nursing Technician at Homeland Nursing Home. Geneva loved walking, care giving and gardening. Amongst the many who will mourn her passing will be her children; Zipporah Littleton, Leonard Powell, Debra, Anthony and Jeffery Buckner and Leslie Powell as well as her brother James Mitchell, a host of grand and great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends. Services will be held on Friday, June 13, 2008 at 11AM in the Hooper Memorial Home, Inc. Her final resting place will be in Paxtang Cemetery. The family wishes to thank you for all of your prayers, acts of kindness and condolences during their time of bereavement.
