Ethel R. Scales

Ethel R. Scales formerly of Harrisburg passed peacefully on Saturday, December 30th in Jacksonville, Florida in her 84th year. A warm and loving individual, Ethel was the family matriarch and will be missed dearly by her loving daughter, Anna, husband Robert Lee of Jacksonville, a sister Sara Johnson of Harrisburg, a brother Robert Lewis Newman of Virginia, six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild and a host of family and friends. Ethel a long time member of The Greater Zion Missionary Baptist Church will be remembered and celebrated on Monday, January 8th at 11:00 a.m. with viewing at 10:00 with interment at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
