Eric’s Well Lived Life

Eric V. Chatman affectionately known as Pop-pop was born October 3, 1955 in Corona, California to the late Thomas Chatman and Naomi Crawford (Johnson). God called him home on Saturday, February 3, 2024 at the age of 68 at home with his wife as he wished. Eric was an only child. He was educated in the Harrisburg school system and graduated from Harrisburg High School in 1973. 

After high school Eric spent time working at Bethlehem Steel, IAC/Masland/Lear and retired from D&H. Throughout the years his leisure time was spent doing the things he loved most; visiting with his mother, taking long drives with his wife and family, traveling to Casinos, blasting his Soul Music through the house (even the neighbors enjoyed it), hosting events at his home, Bowling, Golfing, playing cards and coaching little league baseball and football. 

Preceding him in death is his father, Thomas (Lee) Chatman and mother Naomi Crawford. Eric leaves to mourn his death his loving and devoted wife Tonya Chatman, Daughters Erica (James) Bolden, Erica (Kyle) Hawkins, Latonya (Jameson) Lawrence, sons Eric Chatman and Prenice (Alyssa) Chatman, 15 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren and a host of cousins, extended family and friends.
