Elizabeth Schoch

Elizabeth “ Lindo” Schoch, the daughter of the late Roslyn Jackson Gordon and the late Alexander Reid, was born on March 10, 1933 in Montego Bay, Jamaica. Elizabeth was educated through the Montego Bay School system and moved to Pennsylvania in 1968. She was a member of the Pride of Monroe Temple 1166 in Stroudsburg, PA. and since Elizabeth loved to sew she really enjoyed her work in the ladies garment industry for Valerie’s Fashions.  And anyone who really knew Elizabeth Schoch knew her to enjoy her maternal role and responsibilities and was well known for being the protector of her grandchildren during their early years.  Elizabeth also enjoyed cooking, playing the lottery and was well known for being very meticulous and always willing to help others.
Elizabeth is survived by her precious daughter, Elizabeth Reid, two granddaughters, Denise Reid and Tamira Howard; four great-grandchildren, Mariah, Dequann, Jazarae and Kordae; and three great-great grandchildren, Zhyrae, Zanyla and Shawn; and nine nieces and one nephew.
