Elder Elvin Lester Polk

Elder Elvin L. Polk, 77 of Harrisburg, passed peacefully on September 23, 2021. He was the son of the late John and Leily Polk and raised in Canton, Ohio. Elvin served in the U.S. Army and was a faithful member of Open Doorway of the Cross Church. He was faithful in his service to God, family and country. Elvin enjoyed bowling, baseball, basketball and coaching pee wee football. He is survived by his children Terence Tucker, Laurence and Aundraa` Polk, his sister Cheryl Polk, 5 grand, 5 great-grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. Services on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at Hooper Memorial Home, Inc. at 10:00 a.m., viewing 9:00 a.m., burial Indiantown Gap Natl Cemetery.
