Edward Albert Norman ,56, of Steelton, passed away Friday at his home. A loving and caring father, grandfather and friend.
He was born in Harrisburg on September 28, 1951 to the late John and Gwendolyn (Crump) Brown. He attended the First Spirit Filled Missionary Baptist Church, was a former member of AME Zion church.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his grandmother, Marcella Norman.
He is survived by his wife, Edna Norman, his sister, Iris L. Norman-Lewis, his best friend, Douglas Bouie, six children Joetta King, Edward "Shane" King, Heather King, Faithe Norman all of Harrisburg; Tracey King-Hammonds, Dawn Norman-Scott, and two sons-in-law, Benjamin Hammonds and Robert Scott all of Baltimore, MD.; eighteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren. A host of other relatives, friends and loved ones.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 8th at 11am at First Spirit Filled Missionary Baptist Church, 2609 Locust Lane, Harrisburg. Bishop Dwight Joppy will be officiating. There will be a viewing from 10am to 11am at the church. Burial will be in the Paxtang Cemetery.
