Edith I. Jackson,

"Then you must not grieve so sorely, for I love you dearly still" Edith I. Jackson, 74, passed peacefully on Saturday, October 10th at Osteopathic Community Hospital. Edith retired from the Department of Environmental Resources, Commonwealth of PA. She was a member of Trinity Church of God, an Usher, a member of the NAACP, ACORN and enjoyed bowling and gaming. She leaves to celebrate her life and memory her husband, Lawrence Jackson of NJ, 5 children; Regena Brooks, Vanessa Porter, Kathy, Lawrence and Dwayne Jackson of Harrisburg, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, family and friends. Services will be held on Friday, October 16th, 2009 at her church at 11:00 a.m., viewing at 10:00 a.m. with burial in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. Hooper Memorial is handling Mrs. Jackson's arrangements.
