Edith Ann Carter was born on July 1, 1937, in Huntington, Pa.

 

On Saturday April 30, 2022, at 84 years of age Edith departed this life surrounded by her loving family.

Edith departed this life joining in eternal life her father, Paul Bullett Sr, her mother Ethel Franklin, her brothers, Paul Jr, William, Robert, and Richard Bullett. Her sister Marion Bullett and her grandson TyRelle Harris.

 

Edith worked and retired from Homeland Center after more than 20 years of service as the Head Cook.

 

In her leisure time Edith loved to spend time spoiling her grands and great grands. Loving her family that she held so dear. She liked to walk, doing puzzles, sitting outside on the porch with her grandchildren and great grandchildren especially. She enjoyed listening to her Pastor preach and watching Bishop T. D. Jakes. Her favorite television channel was “The Hallmark Channel”. Edith was an avid Pittsburg Steeler fan from way back.

 

Edith leaves to cherish these memories her four sons, Eugene Bullett, David Searcy Jr, Terry Searcy (Teresa), and Shawnie Johnson (Constance). There is also her three daughters Rochelle Butler (Douglas), Vercenia Scarborough (Anthony) and Tracy Thompson (Mark), 27 Grandchildren, 59 Great Grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
