Edith Ann Carter

Edith Ann Carter was born on July 1, 1937, in Huntington, Pa.

On Saturday April 30, 2022, at 84 years of age Edith departed this life surrounded by her loving family.

Edith departed this life joining in eternal life her father, Paul Bullett Sr, her mother Ethel Franklin, her brothers, Paul Jr, William, Robert, and Richard Bullett. Her sister Marion Bullett and her grandson TyRelle Harris.

Edith worked and retired from Homeland Center after more than 20 years of service as the Head Cook.

In her leisure time Edith loved to spend time spoiling her grands and great grands. Loving her family that she held so dear. She liked to walk, doing puzzles, sitting outside on the porch with her grandchildren and great grandchildren especially. She enjoyed listening to her Pastor preach and watching Bishop T. D. Jakes. Her favorite television channel was “The Hallmark Channel”. Edith was an avid Pittsburg Steeler fan from way back.

Edith leaves to cherish these memories her four sons, Eugene Bullett, David Searcy Jr, Terry Searcy (Teresa), and Shawnie Johnson (Constance). My Sincere Condolences to the family of Mother Edith Carter.

To Vercenia Scarbor & Family,
Our lives are so uncertain, unsure, and not understanable, and God alone knows the pattern of our days. It is difficult to realize that your mother is no longer here with us, and yet she is so close to us in spirit, having only gone beyond the sound of our voices and the touch of our hands.
Death is always a sobering experience, but in the hands, of God, it, too becomes a time for rejoicing.
Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:
And whosoever liveth and believest in me shall never die. Believest thou this? St. John 11:25-26

Those who have brought us joy, made us laugh, and shown us love have given us the lasting gifts of a beautiful life and blessed our memories forever.
The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases, His mercies never comes an end; they are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness.
Lamentations 3:22 - 23

To the Family of Mother Edith Carter
I am sorry that I .can not physcially be with you during your hour of bereavement, but I will be with you in spirit. I pray that God will strengthen your hearts. There is nothing like a mother's love. I will always remember her soft sweet smile as we sat together on the same pew enjoying Sundays message. She will truly be missed.

I will always remember Eda..as she was so affectionately referred to. When I would see her we always got some good laughs in. She was well loved by lots of family and friends. Gone but not forgotten.
