Earl J. Taylor

To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose" Earl J. Taylor, 83, passed January 3, 2009 at Select Specialties Hospital. Mr. Taylor retired from the Commonwealth of PA, the Department of Health & Welfare, he was an Army Veteran and a member of Mt. Calvary COGIC. He leaves to celebrate his life and memory, his devoted wife Dorothy Taylor, his children; Charles, Bernard, Frederick, Richard, Michael L., Earl, Michael J. all of Harrisburg, Patricia Brown of Harrisburg, Debbie Johnson of Maryland, Sharon Cash of Harrisburg, Michelle Brown of Maryland, 34 grandchildren, 58 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren, a special caretaker, Abbie Thomas and a host of other relatives and friends. Services will be held in his church, 1830 N. 5th Street on Wednesday, January 7th at 11:00 a.m., viewing at 10:00 a.m. and burial in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. The family is appreciative for your many acts of kindness and love shown to them during their time of bereavement.
