Dovas L. White

Dovas L. White, 87 of Harrisburg, passed peacefully at home on Monday, November 24, 2014.  He served his country as a Sergeant in the Army, a member of St. Paul Episcopal Church, President of the Men’s Group, Men’s Club, Lay Reader and Verger. He also enjoyed bowling, being the local chauffer and a mentor for the after school program. Dovas retired from the United States Postal Service with over 35 years of dedicated service. He leaves his devoted wife Carolyn White, 5 children; Lee (Loretta) Spencer of Hershey, Bruce Spencer of Steelton, Brenda Spencer-Scott and Keith Spencer of Harrisburg and Ronald (Tracie) White of Steelton and predeceased by his daughter, Carol Ann White. Dovas also leaves 16 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews’ relatives and friends.
