Doris I. Riley

Doris I. Riley, 83 of Harrisburg, transitioned from this life on Friday, November 11, 2022, at the Capital Rehabilitation & Health Center on Linglestown Road in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Doris was born on February 26, 1939, in Washington, DC. 

“Dack” as she was affectionately known as, was the daughter of the late Haywood Riley and the late Inez Hamilton Riley. She was also predeceased by seven of her siblings and one grandson. 

Doris retired from American Air Filter Company, as a Machine Operator with more than 20 years of dedicated service. She was a devoted mother and a devoted friend. Doris enjoyed gardening, especially nurturing her flowers, she enjoyed sports, loved basketball and football, field hockey and golf. Doris was a huge fan of Tiger Woods.

Doris leaves to celebrate her life and memory, her children; Carmen A. Riley and Leonard Riley, both of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, one grandchild, two great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. She will be dearly missed by those she touched and those who loved her dearly.
