Dominic Jackson

Dominic Julien Jackson, affectionately known as Dom or Julio, was born on August 16, 1996, in Harrisburg, PA, to Emily Jackson and Jeremy Mauldin. He received his formal education from the Harrisburg School District and earned his high school diploma while attending Job Corps, where he also obtained his HVAC certification. Dom worked as a warehouse worker, truck stop porter, and in-home caretaker. He was a jack of all trades, always eager to keep his hands busy.

On May 21, 2024, Dominic was tragically taken from us at a young age and transitioned into eternal life. He was preceded in death by his brother, Winston McCullough Jr.

Dominic, a devoted father, loving son, and loyal friend, will be remembered for his unwavering love for his children, his kind and compassionate nature, and his undeniably big heart.

A true Pittsburgh Steelers fan, Dom found joy in cheering on his favorite team and bonding over football with his loved ones. He shared a special bond with his children, always putting their needs above his own and showering them with love and affection.

Known for his impeccable sense of style, Dom had a flair for fashion that he proudly inherited from his uncles. Whether in casual sweats or dressed to the nines, he always made a lasting impression wherever he went.

Above all, he was a friend you could always count on, willing to give the shirt off his back to help those in need. His loyalty knew no bounds, and his presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

To celebrate his life and cherish precious memories of him, he leaves behind his loving mother, Emily Christine Jackson, and father, Jeremy Mauldin; his grandparents, Reverend India E. Garnett and Lise Garnett, Will J. Mauldin Jr. and Debrah Pryor; his legacy, Timothy Lamar Rainey, Malay Leique Rainey Jackson, and Jase Di'jawn Jackson Williams; his brothers, James Jackson, Malique McCullough, Marquise Mauldin, and Jordan Stroll; his beloved sisters, Charise W., Giavonna, and Dazia Mauldin; and a host of loving uncles, aunts, cousins, BRO'S, and best friends.

In honoring Dom's memory, let us cherish the moments shared with him and carry forward the values of love, kindness, and loyalty that he embodied.

May he rest in peace, knowing he was truly loved and will never be forgotten.
