David F. DeVoue, 80, of Harrisburg, passed peacefully on Saturday, September 25, 2010 at Golden Living West Shore. Mr. DeVoue retired from Don Rosen Car Dealership with 35 years of dedicated service. A Korean War Army Veteran, he received both the Bronze Star and the Purple Heart. Mr. DeVoue had a quiet spirit and was an avid musician, he specially noted the clarinet. He also enjoyed reading his Bible; gardening, working with his hands and most importantly spending time with his family. Mr. DeVoue leaves to celebrate his life and memory his children; David F. DeVoue, Jr. of Philadelphia, Debra M. Browning and son-in-law Kenneth Browning of Harrisburg, Darren F. DeVoue and daughter-in-law Yvette DeVoue of King of Prussia and Cynthia DeVoue of Stanton, Virginia, 19 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, a special niece, Viola West of Philadelphia and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. A Memorial Services will be held by his family on Friday, October 1, 2010 at 11:30 a.m. in Day Spring Ministries, 1600 Spring Garden Drive, Middletown, PA 17050.
