Dan L. Davenport Sr

     "When I come to the end of my journey and traveled my last weary mile."

Dan L. Davenport Sr., 57, of Pottstown PA, formerly of Harrisburg, passed suddenly on December 26, 2011. He is predeceased by his parents Theodore and Elaine Davenport. Dan was attending the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Pottstown PA. He was a former member of Greater Zion Missionary Baptist Church. Dan was active in the community and formerly employed at Philhaven as a Substance Abuse Counselor. He leaves to mourn his children: Dimico, Damian, Dan and Danielle Davenport as well as Tiffany Dawson and Lindsay Watts, siblings Roy, Theodore, James "J.T." and Kevin Davenport, 8 grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. Services will be held at Hooper Memorial Home, Inc. on Monday, January 2, 2012 at 11:00 a.m., visitation at 10:30 a.m.
