Cynthia “Cindy” Mckusick, 70, passed away unexpectedly on July 12, 2023, at Holy Spirit Hospital, in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania. Cindy was born on June 4, 1953 in Norfolk, NE, to Gordon and Gladys Moritz.
Cindy was preceded in death by her parents Gordon and Gladys Moritz, as well as her brother-in-law Gary Nielsen.
Cindy graduated from Norfolk High School in 1971. While raising her four children, she completed her Bachelor's Degree, and went on to earn a Master's Degree from Mansfield University in 1998. She started her career as a licensed professional counselor and truly loved her job, which allowed her to help others as she worked in both Pennsylvania and New Hampshire. Cindy enjoyed spending time with her grandkids more than anything else. Her faith and her family were very important to her. She was most at peace at the beach, listening to the waves. She always put others first and giving gifts was her love language. She was an advocate for those less fortunate and accepted everyone as they were, loving all unconditionally.
