Clarice S. Carter, 68, passed peacefully on Monday, November 16, 2009 at Holy Spirit Hospital. She was a member of the Church of New Covenant of Emporia in Kansas, a member of the Choir, the International Healing Center, a Church Mother who enjoyed poetry, puzzles, arts and crafts. Clarice retired from Cromelloy formerly TRW. She leaves to celebrate her life and memory her children; Sharon (Warren) Forrester of KS, Richard J. and Michael A. Thompson of Harrisburg, Mary L. (Mark) Mendez of Lancaster, Melvin Sheppard of Harrisburg, Kevin B. Jefferson of KS, Curtres (Roosevelt) Lawson also of Harrisburg, Andre (Dora) Sheppard of Maryland, siblings Iola Washington of DC and Charles Sheppard of Harrisburg, 27 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Services will be held at Hooper Memorial Home on Friday, November 20, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. with burial in Paxtang Cemetery. The family appreciates your support and kindness during their time of bereavement.
