Clarence R. Williams Sr., 71, fondly known as "Meatball" passed suddenly at home on Wednesday, February 6, 2008. Clarence retired from the Post Office as a Mechanic; he was a member of the Harrisburg Postal Gun Club, an Air Force Veteran, an avid sportsman, he played football, basketball and baseball and enjoyed fishing and crabbing. He leaves to celebrate his life and memory his wife Oddie Lee Williams; 4 children, Clarence Jr., Aurrilious, William and Mildred Williams all of Harrisburg, 4 siblings; Edith Dean and Elizabeth Randolph of Maryland, Elaine Barker and Leon Williams of Harrisburg, an aunt, Elizabeth Rogers of Edgemont, 6 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, nieces nephews and a host of relatives and friends. Interment was held at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery on Monday, February 11, 2008. The family greatly appreciates your love and kindness during their time of sadness and bereavement, Hooper Memorial Home, Inc. handled Mr. William's arrangements.
